Beth, here is a "fabric" tree in one of the toy shops downtown Ft. Collins. I know it is not quite what you envision, but I thought you would like to see it anyway.

Connie and the Little Wool Shoppe.

Here's some pictures of my friend Connie's shoppe. It is in a great old building in downtown Windsor. Here's the check out counter, that she got from the antique store across the street.

This is one of the two cutting tables she has. With the notions cabinet and some of the wool they carry in the background. LOVE the brick!

They were able to keep the great tall ceilings since the upstairs is her studio and not a residence.

More adopted parents. Mama Ruth and Daddy Bud, babysat Megan for us when I went back to work when Megan was only four weeks old. Man, was I young and foolish! Thank God for Mama Ruth and Daddy Bud! Ashley is one of their beautiful granddaughters.

Tuesday.

Tuesday in the morning we went to Sue and Dorris' house and visited more. We also got to eat some fresh homemade bread. Yummy. Then Megan threw me out to meet Pam and Michelle and to go and check out some of the local quilt shops. I had fun checking them out and getting to be with Pam and Michelle. Then for dinner Pam and I met with her family at Young's. A local Asian restaurant. Man, do I miss Robert and Drew.

Megan and I got to have dinner at Tres Margueritas with Sue and Dorris the food was fabulous and so was the company We had fun reminiscing about old times.

So, since we are urban-ites we thought we would support the local downtown. It however, was really cold outside. This is the frozen fountain, which matched the frozen Georgia girls. It was fun to see how the downtown has grown and developed since we moved.

Fabric cases

Kathy couldn't remember what the other cases looked like since they've been in storage for over a year. Drew and I brought 4 of the 10 back to the store.

Balcony renovation

Here's the balcony with the third new piece of plywood installed and the last large section removed and cleaned up. My goal today is to get the last full piece of plywood in place and run a piece of tar paper along the outside edge to waterproof it temporarily.
