The castle starts to take shape.

At four in the afternoon we started the grout lines in the castle.

Then after a quick dinner and a little shopping we came back and started the faux painting of the stones. We left space for the arched area that will have the suits of armor and the throne to be placed. It will be painted on plywood so that Beth won't have to paint directly on the very rough stone.

Look, I actually work too.

Mostly done with the stone. And this is our make shift way to hold the plywood on the stone while the liquid nails dries.

Not pictured is the white office that Marie and I painted while Beth was working on Mitzy. Though necessary, it's not as creative and the pictures will have to wait for the office to actually be set up.
