Today is the one year anniversary of owning this building.

Wow, a lot has happened in the last year. We bought this building, sold our house, quit our jobs and moved to Augusta. We have torn out, rebuilt, sanded, stained, tiled, painted and torn out, rebuilt, painted, sanded, stained and tiled even more. We have made lots of changes and been changed ourselves. We have made "new" friends and tried hard to maintain "old" friendships. There are still times I wonder "what we were thinking" and "do we really want to do this". Last week was one of those weeks, this week however is better. So, we will continue to plug away and there will no doubt be more tearing out, rebuilding, sanding, staining, painting and maybe even tile-ing in our future.
